AECI Food & Beverage’s Process Additives division has evolved from a single product producer into a supplier and partner of companies that require a vast range of specialised products, used in applications such as the insulation of buildings, filtration of liquids and as a growth medium in the agricultural industry.
AECI Food & Beverage’s Process Additives division manufactures perlite based filter aids for the food and beverage industries. They supply filter aids to a wide range of customers in the glucose, edible oils, and beer and wine industries. Infigro can supply perlite and cellulose filter aids for all applications.
AECI Food & Beverage’s Process Additives division has manufacturing facility based in Olifantsfontein that produce all the company’s perlite products. The company also has distribution warehouses in Cape Town, Midrand and Durban. AECI Food & Beverage’s Process Additives division places a significant emphasis on sustainability.
The management team understands the company’s responsibility to reduce its impact on the environment. This is particularly important given that its Olifantsfontein operations border a residential area. The company has acquired ISO9001 and ISO 18001 accreditation.
