The Lake Foods, Infigro Cryogenic Team has just returned from a successful cryogenic project with their brand new portable expander.

The project was completed over nine days on Kansanshi Mine in Solwezi, Zambia. The Kansanshi mine, the largest copper mine in Africa, is 80% owned by Kansanshi Mining PLC, a First Quantum subsidiary. The remaining 20% is owned by a subsidiary of ZCCM. The mine is located approximately 10 kilometres north of the town of Solwezi and 180 kilometres to the northwest of the Copperbelt town of Chingola.

Pictured here is the portable expander and coal box that was filled.

Well done to the implementation team: Guy Young, Thabang Mbalathi, Mxolisi Hlope, Agnes Banda, Murray Taylor, Samuel Masokameng, Sello Mochosa and Tshepho Rakgotho. Great job team!
